All songs except Green Screen use a health system based on the Super Mario franchise. Boyfriend starts songs in Fire form, but will revert to Big form if he misses a note. Missing a note again will turn him into Small form, and missing a note in Small form will result in a Game Over. Hitting Super Mushrooms and Fire Flowers allow Boyfriend to regain previous forms. In 2 Player Game, Boyfriend starts in Big form and powers-ups don't appear. In Balls, Luigi will get a Game Over if he misses even a single note.
