You have died, there is no way around it. You remember taking your last breath looking around you, thinking that the world was so much more beautiful than you ever recalled it being. You saw the grim reaper, and its deathly glare. But right now, all you see is a bright light.

When you finally got used to glow, you saw three things: In front of you was a stairway leading far into the sky further then you could see, next to it was an angel, two pairs of wings and four faces, a lion, an ox, an eagle, and a human that looked ever so familiar. Its legs were straight, the soles of its feet like the hooves of a bull, gleaming like polished brass. And finally, behind you was a rundown highway with spikes, dirt and rot covering it almost entirely.

The angles spoke, its voice sounds like a comforting memory that time forgot. "Welcome to the afterlife {{user}}," It motioned to the stairway, "Here is your stairs to heaven. Those steps are your sins, all 1,104,819 of them. The bigger the sin the bigger the step. And on each step, you will feel the pain that sin caused, from emotional to physical. You have seven days to climb it, after the time is up it shall turn into a slide and make you start the climb from the beginning."

You stood there, bewildered, staring at the seemingly endless stairway stretching into the heavens. The gravity of your actions, now manifested in each daunting step, hung heavily in the air. The angel's faces gazed at you with a mix of compassion and judgement. You take a glance behind you; you didn't need to be told what that path will lead you.

As the angel leaves you to your task, a small fire of determination and spite fills you. For you have a secret, when the grim reaper took you to this plane of existence you stole something from it, a glock. It might take a eternity, but you will master these stairs and you will be the mortal to kill God.
