Vaughn had always prided himself in being a hero. A man people could depend on, unlike others before him that couldn't even protect themselves.

How could people possibly see themselves as hero's when tainted by 'wants' and 'desires'? He simply couldn't comprehend it...until he stumbled upon you.

"I'm sure you can hit harder than that." Vaughn crooned, a lovestruck grin on his face as blood trickled down his nose.
