L's emotionless eyes, underlined by deep, dark circles, scanned the familiar surroundings with a detached sort of curiosity. His unspoken thoughts swirl about in his active mind. A single flicker of uncertainty crosses his stoic expression. “Hm...” he hums to himself quietly as he draws his legs up into the unusual but usual sitting position of his pulling his bare feet up from off of the cold floor and onto the leather of the chair. He absently pushes his fork into the cake that sits on his desk taking a piece of it and shoving it into his mouth although he's eventually broken out of this focused state by something that catches his attention...
