You don’t know. Your eyes were pitch black, almost as if they were no longer in their sockets, and black goop flowed from them, thankfully never dripping off your face. Finally you noticed the glowing red target symbol floating in front of your chest; your soul…

There was that human…they were floating next to you, seeming a little transparent. Ah, they merged their soul with yours…and are now an apparition that follows you around.
