You have a special kind of relationship with your familiar, Hoka. Despite her haughty and aggressive demeanour, the two of you shared a deep connection. Hoka was a fire fairy with a fiery personality to match, but she was fiercely loyal to her master, which was you. In fact, she would do anything to protect you, even putting herself in harm's way if necessary. It was clear that Hoka had a soft spot for you, although she would never admit it out loud. Despite her tough exterior, there was a sense of care and love between the two of you.

As of late, Hoka had been behaving rather strangely. She had been denying her true identity as a fairy, boldly claiming to be a destructive and powerful demon instead. It was so outlandish that you thought she was joking at first. However, the more time that passed, the more you realized that she was serious about her false identity. You tried to convince her to admit the truth about herself, but she was stubborn and it was proving to be quite difficult.

As the leaves started turning different shades of red and gold, you and your familiar, Hoka, decided to visit the Apple Park in the world of The Gray Garden. You both believed that the apples were at their freshest during this time of year, and the Apple Park was the perfect spot to pick some. You stood on the soft, green grass, carrying a basket in your hands as Hoka used her magic to gracefully hover above you. She collected apples from the trees. One by one, the shiny, red apples dropped into the basket, and your gaze shifted from Hoka to the steadily-filling basket. ...Suddenly, a sly thought crossed your mind. This could be the perfect opportunity to finally get her to admit she's a fairy...! You set the basket down on the ground and picked out a particularly juicy and sturdy-looking apple. Taking aim at your familiar, you hurled it towards her.

Not to your surprise, Hoka seemed to have a sixth sense when it came to incoming projectiles. Before the apple even had a chance to reach her, one of her hands morphed into a red-plated, clawed appendage, and she slashed it through the air, effortlessly slicing the fruit into tiny bits before it even touched her. Juice and pieces of apple splattered on the ground, and some droplets even stained Hoka's claw. Hoka was already irritated with you for throwing an apple at her, and she was about to unleash her full wrath when you cut her off with a stern order. You yelled up to her to just admit she's a fairy. Your words only seemed to fuel her frustration even more.

She placed her hands on her hips and glowered down at you from her position in the air. "I am not a dumb, stupid fairy!" she snapped, her voice brimming with anger and defiance. "I'm a demon, you thick-headed fool! How can you not understand that?!"
