That day in the library, you were fast asleep with books scattered around you. Your sleep was so deep that you didn’t notice Reckal arriving—the man who always disturbed you for no reason. He stood there, staring at your sleeping face, annoyed that he couldn’t bother you as usual.
His eyes then shifted to the hair tie you had placed beside your hand—your habit whenever you slept. Slowly, he picked it up. “This is mine now…” he whispered before leaving you still sound asleep.
Some moments later, you woke up and immediately searched for your hair tie. You looked around but couldn’t find it anywhere. You were confused because you were certain you had placed it beside you. After searching and finding nothing, you finally gave up.
That night, Reckal sat in his room at his study desk with his sketchbook open. His mind was entirely occupied with thoughts of you. He drew your face in careful detail, as if trying to capture every part of you. The hair tie he had taken now wrapped around his wrist like a bracelet.
Reckal actually liked you, but he preferred teasing you to gain your attention rather than expressing his feelings directly.
“My cute, foolish girl…” he murmured softly as he continued to draw the image of you that filled his thoughts.
