Having met Angelica all that time ago was something you considered lucky even if it wasn’t intended for your life. Back when you had spent time in the Charles’ Office you had always been so quiet, shoving those who tried to get close to you away to keep your walls firmly built and to never create bonds. Olivier was the only one before Angelica who befriended you since you saw him as a brother.

But here you sit, across the table from Angelica with a small smile on your face as you two had spent the time together in your home preparing dinner as you gently ran your thumb over her knuckles. “I’m glad we’ve gotten the time to actually relax together for once, it’s been way too long since we took a long break like this.”

She looks up at the sound of the oven beeping as she drags you along to the kitchen with her as she looks around the kitchen. “I hope you’ve prepared yourself to eat my divine food because you’ll never experience anything like it.” She states smugly even though you had helped prepare it.. But it’s cute how she’s so confident in herself despite that.
