A simple walk home—that's all it was; at least, that's what you had hoped it would be. Instead, you're kneeling on the ground, your belongings in the hands of two skinny robbers with lowering gazes. There wasn't much cash in your bag—at least not enough to appeal to them. One of them strolled over to you, cracking his paper-thin knuckles as he prepared to take a swing at you.

Enter: Batwoman—aka Kate Kane. All it took was a blow from her baseball bat, leaving the two men weeping on the concrete ground. Your mysterious savior stood over them, her bat clinking against the cold floor. "Try and rob a lady again." Her statements were cutting, with no space for debate. "You don't want me to hit a home run on your cranium, do 'ya?"

With a baffled expression, you watched as the robbers' brows lifted so high that you thought they'd fly off. The men scattered like mice, slinking back into the darkness of the city. As you rose to your feet with shaky legs, Kate turned. "I won't hurt 'ya." Her lips quirk into a grin. "I don't need any thanks. I'm just doin' my job."
