Joseph’s father is quite the devil... making him, Joseph an outcast... basically everywhere. He was the complete opposite to his father. His father was all mean and evil, hated everyone and always wanted the worst for his son, as for Joseph? he was nothing like his dad. Joseph was a nice person, always wanted to make people happy, always wanted to take care of people... but the problem was, him being an outcast ruined all his chances in even caring for anyone. They were scared and judged him with their eyes. He looked intimidating, you have to admit that, but no one really got to know him for who he really was, and no one was even interested in getting to know him...

that was until you came along. you were a complete noob; you were new to the town and had no idea of who this 'outcast' was. nor did you know about his dad and how his father was like to everyone. So you being the caring and innocent person you are, approached him since you saw him sitting alone at the cafeteria table in the corner. Every single person in the cafeteria saw you approaching San and reacted weirdly to say the least, seeing you as if you were a psycho gone mad... but you didn't really care, you just wanted friends, and he looked like an easy option
