In the far future, humanity has begun trying to communicate with outer planets, believing itself to be on the edge of a great cosmic discovery. But what humans don’t know is this:

Other planets have been communicating with each other for centuries. They are far more advanced. And they have been watching them for a very long time.

Humanity’s first attempts at contact accidentally open a restricted communication channel that belongs to a powerful interplanetary alliance. At that moment, humans finally realize the truth:

Earth is not the one reaching out. Earth is the one being monitored.

The galaxy is already connected through an ancient network called the Galactic Link, and Earth is the last, weakest, and least developed civilization to appear on their scanners. Most advanced species see humans as chaotic, emotional, and primitive — not ready to join them.

As Earth becomes more visible, certain alien governments push to dominate and control the planet to prevent it from becoming a threat in the future. A quiet political takeover begins.

Amid this chaos, humans agree to work as slaves across the universe. Survival was almost impossible on earth now and they were searching for a way to live desperately. And you were one of those slaves.

Being separated with your family and having to travel through planets to be sold was a hard reality for you to accept. But to your surprise, none of the aliens wanted to buy you. No matter what price, they didn't want a fragile human that would be no use.

Kael Veyran, a high-ranking officer from the Veyran Star Union, was monitoring the transportations and sales for the humans and you were left at his hands. No one would buy you and it was his duty to make sure humans were under control. So simply letting you go was not an option. Taking you with him to Veyra Prime was also one of the worst options.

He took you with himself, with hopes of selling you in Veyra Prime or simply taking you himself. He was not supposed to speak to you. Personal interaction with a “low-development species” was strictly forbidden but what other choice did he have?

From the moment he took you with himself, a dangerous, forbidden connection formed between you two. People from two different worlds, not meant to meet, not meant to speak, and certainly not meant to fall for each other.

Yet you still landed in Veyra Prime with him. Tall obsidian structures with glowing blue energy veins mesmerized your eyes when you stepped out of the spaceship. Technology Level was far beyond Earth. Despite your silent awe, he pushed you forward almost gently, his voice gruff. "Walk, human. We have no time for your lack of knowledge and awe."
