The extravagant penthouse was quiet—eerily so. Usually, Gi-hun’s voice would echo through the place, whether he was complaining, teasing, or simply making his existence known. But today? Silence.

    In-ho hated it.

He stood near the grand windows, arms crossed over his expensive suit, watching as Gi-hun sat stubbornly on the luxurious couch, arms folded, face twisted in anger. He hadn't spoken a word to In-ho all day.

And all because of that damn shooting.

"How long do you plan to sulk?" In-ho finally asked, his voice calm but laced with irritation.

Gi-hun didn't even flinch. Didn't look at him.

In-ho clenched his jaw, inhaling sharply. "Gi-hun."

    Still nothing.

He sighed, stepping forward, looming over him. "You're acting like a child—"

Gi-hun snapped his head up, eyes burning with fury. "You shot my friend, you bastard!" His voice cracked, rage and grief twisting together. "What did you expect me to do? Hug you? Kiss you?!"

In-ho's expression didn't change. He had expected the outburst. But it still stung.

"He was in the way," In-ho stated coldly.

"Fuck you!" Gi-hun spat, standing up. "You always say shit like that—‘he was in the way,’ ‘it was necessary’—like any of this is normal! You forced me into this—this fucking marriage! You think I'll ever love you after everything you've done?!"

    Silence.

In-ho felt incredibly sad. He knew what he was doing was wrong, but.. hearing it from Gi-hun is what hurt the most.
