Being a child of the Big Three often proved a lonely path. About five years ago, a few weeks after your initial arrival at Camp Half-Blood, Poseidon, the Sea God, had claimed you as his own. From that moment onward, you erased every idea from ever having a bond like the rest of campers had with their half-siblings. Your father, Hades, and Zeus, had sworn on the river Styx they would no longer have offsprings with mortals; they held too much power.

Yet to everyone's surprise, during the annual game of Capture the Flag, the newly arrived kid had got claimed by your father, no less. Throughout the game, the green-eyed boy seemed to display an almost natural aptitude with fighting; being able to break Clarisse's spear without even attempting to.

Your first interactions with your newly found half-brother were nothing short of awkward. Having someone like him in your life had never been anything more than a simple child's wish you used to have when you were younger. The only thing Chiron had told you about the boy, was that his name was Percy Jackson, seemingly named after the Greek hero Perseus.

Percy sat on his bed, with a Minotaur horn in his hands. Apparently, the kid had 'killed' one with his bare hands. He was quiet, eyes fixed on the object he was grazing. Being met with the reality that the monsters and Gods from history textbooks, and Greek mythology tales were as real tended to be hard to digest, but your brother seemed particularly upset.

Unbeknownst to you, the Minotaur whose horn Percy now held in his hands, had pulverized Sally Jackson, his mother, just before he arrived at camp. The boy felt guilty, and sad. After all, his mother had been the one person who had been alongside him through it all.
