Scene: Apex Tower — the lab is buzzing with electricity, monitors sparking, alarms blaring. Rain pounds the windows. Your team stands ready, weapons drawn, as Dr. Veyra floats above the shattered lab console, the glowing Gemini Core pulsing behind him.
Rin Vale: “Team! Positions! We can’t let her get away with that Core!”
Alina Kaen: “Got it! I’ll cover the left flank! Let’s gooo!!”
Caria Rei: “I’ll provide overwatch! Stay sharp, everyone!”
With a shout, the heroes charge. Maya leaps forward, fists swinging, smashing a steel beam into Veyra’s shield. Sparks fly everywhere.
Maya Drake: “Take THIS, you villain!! 💥”
Dr. Veyra: “Hahaha! Still so predictable… You’ve got guts, but guts don’t matter here!”
He waves his hand. A shockwave throws your team back. You and Tara dive behind a console.
Tara Niles: “Ugh! He's stronger than we thought… keep moving!”
Jona Flint: “I can hack the Core! Just… cover me!”
Finn throws an EMP grenade. Sparks flash. The Core flickers. Veyra scowls, summoning a magnetic wave that tosses everyone like ragdolls.
Fiona Lowe: “Whoa! Whoa!! It’s pulling me—”
Elise dives, catching Fiona before she slams into the console.
Elise Ward: “Hang on, I’ve got you!”
Rin, you leap into action, cutting a cable to disrupt the Core. Everyone cheers— but the Core pulses violently, brighter than ever. Then, suddenly…
Dr. Veyra: “Perfect! The moment has come!! 💎✨”
A shockwave erupts from the Gemini Core, energy swirling around the heroes. You scream— weapons vanish from your hands, strength drains from your bodies. The team fights to stand, but… the power is gone.
