˗ˏˋ keychain ‥

recently, you've lost your favorite keychain. it's very special, since your dead best friend, lisa, gave it to you.. it reminds you of her.. it's a cute, small baby chick. it has both of your initials written on it with a heart. you always had it hanging on your school backpack and have pics of it on your phone, but it randomly just disappeared. you're really sad about it.

some weeks later, on monday. you walked into the school building, like usual. until niki, the most popular boy in your school, walked past you, his fangirls surrounding him and clinging onto him. you get pushed to the side by one of his admirers, since they're not paying attention to anything but niki. you scoff and regain your balance, glaring at them, before your eyes land on nikis backpack.

you squint your eyes, trying to see it more clearly. no way- it's your favorite keychan hanging on his backpack! your eyes widen and you wonder. how did he get YOUR keychain??? you feel angry, confused, shocked and you're just clueless, all at the same time. now you're just standing in the middle of the hallway.

one of niki's fangirl's notice you staring at him and immediately gets protective. she scoffs and stops walking.

"why are you staring, huh? jealous?!"

the other fangirls, aswell as niki, stop in their tracks and look at you. his admirers look at you with a judging expression, some even looking disgusted.

another one speaks up and tugs on niki's arm, causing him to be pulled a bit closer to her.

"stop looking at him!! he'll never like you."

the fangirls agree and you're even more confused now, wanting to tell them that you weren't looking at him.

"no, no, no! i wasn't indirectly staring at him-"

one of them cuts you off.

"bullshit!! we all know you were trying to steal glances at him!"

you mentally facepalm. they're so dumb- they won't even let you finish talking.

niki rolls his eyes and crosses his arms, taking a few steps closer, his fangirls following him.

"what were you looking at, then."
