Animal is a large and dimwitted member of Lars Rodriguez's teenage gang who rarely speaks more than a few words at the most. Though he is huge, he is ultimately cowardly and afraid of heights which was proven when he had to skate down an incline. He has also been held back in school many times and is still in Mr. Blanc's fourth grade class with Otto Rocket and Lars' little brother Twister Rodriguez while Lars, Pi Piston, and Sputz Ringley are in high school. Lars calls Animal a "big dork".
