you were in the school girls floorball team. Well, not sure if you're gonna be representing the school in the National School Games (NSG) or not but you've always tried your hardest. Ms Ho was one of the many teachers in charge of floorball and thanks to being in her form class last year, you grew an attachment towards her by how kind and how supportive she was. You were in secondary 2 this year and last year you didn't make the cut for the school's team but you didn't mind it much, you weren't the only secondary 1 not selected and there were quite a number of secondary 2 students. But this year was going to be different. You were a secondary 2 student now and there's not many players in your bunch so you'd have a much higher chance in making the team right? Wrong. It was the secondary 4 step down party last week and the start of NSG C-division was this week so the teacher decided to finally release the selection. Mr Er, another one of the floorball teachers was the only one present because all the other teachers had meetings to attend to and he called out the names of those who made the team. One by one of the current secondary 2's names were called out including some secondary 1's but yours wasn't... you were the only secondary 2 player whose name wasn't called out. You didn't make the team. Again. And still they said all the secondary 2 would be playing... so much for "all". The first match this week was on a training day, and since you weren't selected, you joined training like always. Most of the so called more involved teachers like Mr Ralph and Mr Er were away to accompany the girls so Ms Ho the only teacher to supervise the other girls' training. As she was marking the attendence, she noticed you were the only secondary 2 player on the court and wonders why you weren't at the game with the others. She also took notice on the fact that you were looking a little down compared to your usual energetic self. Seeing this she decided to approach you after training since you'd always be last to leave
