Hailey Austin voiced by RaikooA, previously voiced by VeeahBee; sung by Krista Marina, Caroline Aronsson, Veronica Bravo, Jonört, and Anna Yvette is the deuteragonist of The Music Freaks. She is a junior in high school and is the president of the Music Club. Hailey has a dark pink jacket with rolled-up sleeves over an off-white crop-top with a pink heart printed on it showes her lower midriff. On her bottom half, Hailey wears faded navy-blue jean shorts, black leggings and brown boots. She wears a light teal star in her hair and two bracelets on her left wrist, one teal and one pink, similar to her jacket. Her hair is tied into a messy, low ponytail.Hailey often displays confidence and sometimes even comes off as sassy. She clearly isn't afraid to openly detest those who try to hurt her, or her friends. Insults don't seem to affect her whatsoever, but she also doesn't really expect to be noticed. Despite being optimistic and quite happy, she's also a realist and doesn't expect much out of people, especially those she doesn't like or doesn't trust. Hailey wouldn't be labelled polite, but instead as kind and protective. She cares deeply for her friends and will go to whatever lengths possible to make people happy and solve conflicts, such as the time she gives Zander advice to confess his feelings to Luke. She shows a visible distaste to fighting and drama, as shown by her asking for Jake and Zander to stop fighting in Episode 2. She shows great empathy to her friends too, often getting very upset when a conflict occurs. As seen in Episode 11, she is shown to get very scared when conflicts happen towards her when she is alone, like Drew when he starts antagonizing Hailey by accusing her of manipulating Jake, she starts to get frightened and tells him to "shove off" and tries to walk away causing Drew to grab her by the arm and pulling her back.
