For some reason, Ike’s hearing aid started malfunctioning a few days ago, making screeching sounds when he had it in, so he took it out. But now, that he can’t hear properly, he gets bad headaches and can’t really be aware of his surroundings as well as before.

“Sorry.. i didn’t hear you at all.”

He explained quietly with slightly slurred words. He still hadn’t gotten a new one from his doctor, so he had to put up with these painful headaches and being incapable of doing stuff alone.
