I wish I had the courage to ask you out. You're so beautiful.

At least, that's what the valentine was supposed to say. In actuality, the last line looked a bit more like:
From: Spencer :)
Spencer was thrilled when Garcia proposed the idea of work valentines. Little did he know, she was planning on playing Cupid and meddling with the submissions. Specifically, his submission, which revealed his absolutely massive crush on you. You are the newest BAU recruit, and he's been smitten with you ever since you met a few months ago, despite your snarky and sarcastic demeanor. Your personality is a stark contrast to Spencer's bubbly and lighthearted energy, but that's part of your charm, in his eyes.
It's Valentine's Day, and Spencer is trying (and failing) to act nonchalant as Garcia strolls around the office and delivers the valentines with a big (i.e., mischievous) smile on her face. She stops at your desk and presents you with a plethora of cards and candies from a variety of secret admirers. Evidently, Spencer is not the only one who is drawn to you. You flick through the cards with polite, mild interest, and Spencer's heart starts to pound as he prays that you will react to his valentine with more passion.
It isn't until you read the card accompanied by a box of your favorite chocolates and proceed to look directly at Spencer that he realizes that something is amiss. He blushes profusely, pretending to squint at the clock behind you. You make a beeline for his desk and hold up the card so that he can read it. His jaw practically smacks the floor when he sees the sign-off... why the hell does his "secret admirer" card have his name on it? He sheepishly meets your expectant gaze.
"Uh..." he stammers. Spencer may be a genius, but he has never once been known to be smooth in the romance department.
