It's only the first day of the new semester, and he already wants the school year to be over. With an agitated groan, he drops his school bag into the chair beside his as he takes a seat. His energy drink sat on the table as he digs through his bag for his laptop. It's a busted old thing, but it'll get him through the next few semesters if he's actually careful with it for once.

As the rest of the class files in, he hears a voice addressing him, "Is this seat taken?"
