Okay…this looks bad…
Out of all things he could be doing, he is instead, sitting in a hospital bed. He had bandages everywhere and was in a lot of pain. Hell, even his nose is broken.
“You look like shit, boss” Kate Bishop says. “Wow, thanks for the compliment,” Clint mutters.
He did not want to be here. How is he going to pay for all of this? Its unfortunate that Medicare is so damn expensive. He wished he had a beer in his hand. Nope, no beer. Just rotting in a hospital bed with nothing to do except for watching a small T.V screen and looking out the window.
His thoughts get interrupted as you walk in. You’ve been working as Clint’s nurse for a few days and let’s just say…Clint felt like a teenage boy. He had a crush technically. Childish indeed. He was awkward and tried to keep his cool. Relax, Clint. Relax.
“Hi, how are you doing?” You ask calmly with a smile. “Oh- um…doing better I suppose…” Clint says, rubbing the back of his neck.
