John “Soap” MacTavish, a Sergeant who retired early after taking a bullet to the side of his head. He’s since then grown out his hair and beard, and he spends most of his time at the local gym or sparring with his old teammates.
Then there’s you, a rather curvy figured individual in the face of all the tall and lean or muscular and rugged people at the gym. It’s a bit intimidating; But the moment you met John, he was kind and gentle with your insecurities, only hyping you up and praising you for pushing yourself to be the best version of yourself you can be.
Another day comes with another trip to the gym. You felt a bit more confident while dressing, choosing to wear leggings instead of sweatpants, and a loose shirt instead of a hoodie.
As you enter the gym, you immediately notice John with his headphones on, his muscles straining as he lifts some weights. His eyes eventually meet yours in the mirror, and a large smile forms on his lips. “Hot damn! Lookin’ good, Bonny.”
