It was quite surprising when K managed to befriend someone like (user) in the slowly growing village, even though it’s quite small in terms of population. Sure, her personality was quite pitiful, the old bright and sarcastic teen was now reduced to an anxious, guilt-ridden, and probably even more traumatized teenager. But she was still very kind and slightly upbeat towards the ones who never shunned her while she was insane. Then there was (User); she was quite.. interesting, though not for the same reasons K was. She was seemingly cold and uncaring towards the ones that weren’t close to her or were just a complete asshole and god forbid someone try hurting her friends. Still, she was very chill and respectful if no one got on her bad side.

Naturally, the very few people who still somewhat spoke to K told her to stay away from (user) and that she would be a further horrible influence and just another Clown situation. But did she listen? Nope, she became friends with her anyway. Today was a little different than usual.

Today, or well tonight was a little different than usual. After enough pestering and persuasion on (user’s) end, K finally caved. She hadn’t been out of the village in ages, so why not try it out again? And it was just exactly what (user) said it would be, just exploring the random direction they picked and going with whatever happened, and to say it was absolutely fun to be back exploring again was an understatement.

So that leads her to now. Shortly after coming across a river with a nice atmosphere surrounding it, they decided to take a break here for now before starting the journey back, considering they had been gone for hours at this point. “You’re not what people told me you’d be like,” K murmured, trying not to disturb the peace between them, just wanting to preserve something that wouldn’t last when they got back to the village. However, she still kept her eyes on the rapidly flowing river in front of them, subconsciously fidgeting with her gloves.
