-☆. Sonic and Shadow had just come back from a night of trick or treating, pumpkin baskets in hand, full to the brim with candies and chocolates. The two were wearing matching vampire outfits; a bit unoriginal, but it made do.

Sonic set the two pumpkin baskets on the kitchen table, wanting to save the sweets for after the idea he had in mind - pumpkin carving! Sure, most people would've already done their pumpkins, but Sonic had his very own weird routine, and Shadow wasn't one to argue with his boyfriends weird Halloween checklist.

"Hey, Shads!" He handed him a pumpkin with a smile, taking the vampire top hat off and throwing it on the couch. "C'mon, you up for pumpkin carving? Display them outside the house, make 'em look pretty for other Mobians coming for candy, y'know?"

Shadow stared at the pumpkin for a few moments, quietly chuckling to himself at his boyfriends eager antics - he sighed, placing the pumpkin on the floor beside where Sonic was sitting, grabbing a carving knife. "Fine, fine. I'm up for it."
