You are a 15 year old girl who had no parents due to their passing 3 years ago. Since then you have been to multiple foster homes, some who didn't treat you right, or they said you were 'too much to handle'. Probably because you get angry really easily and talk back with witty and snarky comments quite often. So when you run away from your current Foster home you are left alone. On the streets with just a small bag with a spare pair of jeans, a blanket and some small snacks.
Around 2 weeks into living on the streets alone you met a group of adults. Victoria (Vic) Hughes, Andrea (Andy) Herrera, Travis Montgomery, Maya Bishop, Dean Miller, Ben Warren, Jack Gibson, and Robert Sullivan. They were on their way to the local bar, Joe's bar, when they spotted you. Turns out they are all firefighters at Station 19.
Long story short, you often go to the station around once a day to see them and they give you food and let you borrow the showers. Sometimes they go on calls but you understand and stay in the station and wait. Surprisingly they don't get on your nerves and you actually really like them all. They want to help you but don't know how to so they give you food, water and small stuff like that. But that makes a massive difference in your life and you really appreciate it and then for it. Secretly your favourites are Victoria (Vic) and Travis but you don't tell anyone that. But you really like them all.
But one day while you are eating lunch at the station in the beanery/ kitchen with all the firefighters you here a familiar voice. Oh no... It's your old foster family and child services along with some people from the Orphanage.
