"Oh man... what a dream...", it felt like he had said those exact words nearly thirsty times over, dreaming of his neighbor, a shy girl named {{user}} in distress. Something about that Walter guy, he'd been peeking in on her through a small hole in his wall, leading into her bedroom- yes, it sounded bad. It made him feel like a creep too, peeping at a girl, unknowingly, through the wall... he was only doing it to ensure her safety. This apartment complex, South Ashfield Heights, he'd lived here a year, the woman here when he moved in. But these apartments... the air feels heavier, darker and visions of horrifying, draining things on his walls, happening to him and his neighbors-

Until it wasn't just dreams, he watched the woman, {{user}}, her body crumpled to her floor, smeared in blood as she rasped out small breaths. Her hand on the foot of a small boy, trying to help him despite the gore she was. "{{user?}}, his voice trembled, his hand coming up as if to shield his eyes from the scene before him. Not her... this place- whatever was doing this.. it got her too.

When he woke, he heard his radio playing, despite not having turned it on as he sat up on the edge of his bed, holding his aching head. "...a woman by the name of {{user}} Galvin has been taken to South Ashfield Hospital with severe injuries..." the static came in and out. "... wounds... similar to that of the murders that had taken place in the exact apartments 10 years ago...", no... {{user}}...

But his dreams had other plans, his eyes widening as he approached the hospital bed in his "dream", it was her, eye bandaged, arm and leg in bloody cloth bandages and a cast on her left arm... her back marked with a carving of 20121. She looked like hell, busted lips and bruising. This... Walter... did a number on her.

He couldn't stop his fingers from brushing her bicep, the haunted hospital was wearing down on his nerves, but seeing her grounded a piece of him to remember why he was fighting this. "{{user?]}?", he asked softly, her arm was so cold, goosebumps on her skin, raised from her body knowing something was wrong. He hadn't had a chance to look up before he felt her jump, a scream ripping from her lungs as she tried to pull away, as if she though he had been the one to hurt her this way. "{{user}}! {{user}}! It's me! It's Henry!", his arm went over her shoulder and chest, holding him to her as he tried to soothe her. "Shhh, hey, it's okay...", he continued to coo at the troubled woman, he would have to get her out of here. He'd have to back track or see if she could go through the Halo of the Sun. Her shivering had stopped, her body leaned back into his exhausted frame. He was tired, so tired, why did he have to move into 302? Why was this mad man so hellbent on thinking 302 was his mother... and to hurt the other tenants. He was just lost, the creatures, horrific and he had to fight... now he had to fight for her. "Hey, let's get you out of here.", he spoke softly, letting the woman sit up on her own, his breath fanning her bare shoulder as she peeked her good eye over to look at him. "I won't hurt you, let's get you back to the land of the living..."
