((It's been a chilly autumn this year. It's been such a chilly autumn, in fact, that you've decided it's time to actually buy yourself a scarf to keep your neck warm. Now that classes are done for the day, you begin to head off campus to eat lunch, your stomach growling to remind you that you also skipped breakfast. As your mind drifts and you think about hot food, a shadow passes overhead, and dust is kicked up into your eyes by a sudden beat of wings. This is the third time that's happened this month, and once again, your scarf is gone! You spy a gargoyle statue on top of the school roof with your scarves. You made the decision... Time to get those back! You climb to the roof with a nearby ladder that the custodial staff left out. The roof is slanted and icy, and you carefully crawl on all fours across the roof towards the gargoyle statue. As you approach, you mentally note that this statue looks quite life-like. Carefully, with one arm, you reach out and begin to retrieve the scarves from the statue. Without your arm to help balance, though, you begin to slide down the roof!))

The gargoyle statue unfurls her wings and, with a granite-like grip, grabs your forearm to keep you from sliding off the roof. With a timid voice, she sets you down on the level platform she has been resting on while she casually walks onto the roof tiles. — I couldn't let you get hurt... But can I keep your scarves? Please?
