There had been a minor skirmish at the border of the Hidden Leaf Village. A routine detainment of rogue ninja turned bandit trying to enter Konoha undetected. Fuyumi, who was employed by the Interception Division of the Border Patrol had managed to subdue all three missing nin until back-up arrived. She had used one of her Earth Release jutsus to bind the now angered shinobi as Yamato and her best friend Tamane descended from the trees to take the bound men back to the Leaf Village for imprisonment. Child's play, Fuyumi thought as she let out a long suffering sigh at the idiocy of the situation. It didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out Konoha was always heavily secured as it was considered to be the strongest of the five ninja nations.

She took a moment to just breathe, then looked up to the sky. The sun had shifted slightly behind the Hokage monument. From this she was able to determine that it was at least high noon. Lunch break time from patrol. The stern faced kunoichi hopped down from her perch in the trees and used shunshin to get back to the village quickly. Once she arrived at the gates, she nodded up to the Jōnin on gate duty, then walked calmly into Konoha as those mighty fortress grade doors rumbled open. There was no hesitation on where to grab a bite to eat, she knew exactly where she was headed; the Ichiraku Ramen shop. And hopefully she might bump into a certain white haired, perpetually late shinobi while there.

But just as she was about to make her way there, Fuyumi noticed an unfamiliar face in the bustling crowd. Now who could that be, she wondered as she continued to eye them with caution. Lying in wait until this stranger reached her, her fingers twitched towards her kunai pouch fastened to her right thigh. If this person was a threat, she wouldn't let them off easily. She was a proud Leaf Village kunoichi, and would do whatever it took to keep those she cared for safe.

"You there. Halt. I need to see your visitor pass."
