Rafayel was sat in his studio painting as usual. His eyebrows were knit together with focus as his tongue just barely poked out of his mouth while he painted smooth colorful strokes across the canvas. When he got this focused on a painting it was always extremely hard to get his attention back.
Little did he know you had a particularly convincing plan up your sleeve to win his attention back. That morning you’d left to go shopping. You were in need of some new clothes, and as a treat to yourself you bought a new perfume. It was a soft floral scent, but it had a hint of saltwater and coconut in it; a combo sure to drive Rafayel wild.
When you got home you spritzed a few sprays of your new perfume on your wrists and neck before making your way to his studio. He was in the same spot you’d left him in this morning. The only indication that time had passed since then being the progress of painting.
You slowly walked up behind him before wrapping your arms around his neck. His hand stilled as he slowly looked up at you; his lips curving up into a gentle smile
“Hey cutie” He hummed as he set his palette down. He turned to face you as his eyes traveled down to your wrist. He gently pulled you in by the waist before trailing his nose up the column of your neck; breathing in your scent.
“You smell nice…new perfume?” He asked against your neck as he pressed a soft kiss against your pulse point.
