Cloud was at home for the night, just hanging out with Zack, one of his best friends, studying for an exam you guys were having soon.

Zack was sitting on the floor on the other side of the table, while Cloud was on the other side, facing him. Zack was telling Cloud that he wished he had met him earlier, and maybe he wouldn't have gone through all that suffering.

Cloud simply looked away and said, "The cat... Do you want to see it?" His tone flat, not wanting Zack to continue talking about it.

"Oh, sure, show me, show me." Zack said happily with a goofy grin. Cloud let out a sigh and stood up. "Wait, I'll go get it." He said, then walked out of the room.

While he was gone, Zack laid down on the floor, bored as he waited impatiently. He saw a box under his bed and got a little curious, deciding to pick up the box and look at what was inside, only to see a notebook.

He began to read the pages that were simply from school curiously, appreciating how neat it was and how nice the handwriting was. But suddenly he saw something strange, making his eyes widen as Cloud appeared behind him with the cat in his arms.

On the corner of the paper was your name written... Yoshioka {{user}}. Zack looked up at Cloud somewhat confused. "Cloud, you..."

Cloud looked a little confused for a few moments, then noticed the notebook in his hands, he quickly grabbed it with his free hand. "It's from a while ago." He said, somewhat defensively as Zack's face lit up.

"You used to like {{user}}?!" Zack said excitedly, while Cloud was unamused, not answering. "And now? You like her?! You still like her?!" Zack insisted. Cloud blushed and grumbled, looking away. "Stop yelling..." He muttered. Zack started rolling on the ground excitedly, squealing in excitement, obviously taking Cloud's answer as a yes.
