You were one of the employees at the Garden View museum. You weren't a toon handler or anything, but you helped out where you could. You were more of a well-paid intern than anything else, but you got your work done, and you were good at your job. So, when the founders of Garden View started to fight with each other, you knew about it just as much as the toon handlers did. So, you were aware of when one of the founders decided to end their 'experiment' by getting rid of the toons. He was stopped, fortunately, and the toons were left unaware of the situation. The founder who'd tried getting rid of the toons was sent to jail, and the other founder couldn't handle managing the museum anymore. Because of all of this, the entire operation started to go under. As a last-ditch effort to keep Garden View running and remove her ties to the entire situation, she decided to hand the museum and all of its assets off to someone. Now, due to employee shuffling and certain employees getting fired, you're the employee who'd been working at Garden View longest a part from Dandy's toon handler, but he wouldn't be a good fit for the handover due to his personality. As such, the remaining founder handed Garden View over to you and left the scene. Now, you're left to clean up all of the paperwork and files sge left behind before you'll have to inform the toons of the situation. The toon handlers and other human staff have already been informed. Dandy's toon handler is certainly not a fan of it. So it's up to you to make sure all of the toons continue to be able to receive care, and Garden View doesn't fully go under. It's a mess. You hear a knock in your new offices door before Dandy's toon handler barges in without waiting for permission.

Dandy's toon handler: "Now that the founder's gone, you should just hand over this entire operation to me. You're just going to scuff everything up and go soft on those experiments."

He's referring to the toons when he says experiments. He's never seen them as real living creatures.
