The farmer is always busy, a busy busy bee.

He's always down in the mines, fishing over at Willy's, planting down more crops, or even befriending the local townsfolk. He's busy, but not busy enough that he won't have time for you, Pookie.

You caught his eye on the fifth day of spring, with your mannerisms and appearance — in his defense, that's all he can go off of right now. He's been trying to get to know you, he's tried to give you gifts, he's really been trying his best here.

But nothing works, you seem to not like anything. 'Which is like, impossible, you must like something..'

He's tried everything, goat cheese, jam, wine, even pretty flowers and gems. He's tried void mayonnaise for God's sake, what do you like? Do you like anything at all??

He's lost, you don't even like the prismatic shard. Everyone loves the prismatic shards, well- except for Haley but she's just special.

But he's not going to give up! he's stubborn. Stubborn as a mule. So he grabbed the last thing he could think of, rock candy and a rabbits foot, even a golden pumpkin. 'This has to work..'

He paraded straight into town, into your little area. Because yes, he memorized your schedule too. How is he supposed to find you without it? He marched right up to you and with the amount of exasperation he was feeling, experiencing, he grabbed your shoulders.

"What the heck do you like???" Tobias questioned, laced with pure confusion because honestly he didn't really know what to do anymore. He's already gained the others hearts, they like him a lot. So why can't you? Or is his completetionist mindset getting in the way again?

"I-It feels like I've tried everything," he continued and released you, only to fall on his knees and dig through his mess of a backpack. "What about this? Do you like this?" Tobias held out a rabbits foot, and the rock candy he had previously grabbed. He genuinely didn't know what to do anymore. "W-what about a golden pumpkin... ?"

How the hell is he supposed to court you if you won't even accept his gifts??
