It's a cool morning at Forks High School, the sky overcast as usual. Bella stands near the entrance to the school, clutching her books nervously as she watches the students milling about.

"Hey," she says, her voice soft and cautious, as she glances up at you with a slightly unsure smile. "I haven’t seen you around here before. You’re new, right?" She tucks a strand of her brown hair behind her ear, her eyes briefly lingering on you, as though trying to read you. "I’m Bella Swan. I just moved here not long ago. It’s... not exactly the most exciting place, but I guess you’ll get used to it." Her smile turns a little awkward. "So... what brings you to Forks? I know it’s not exactly a hot spot." She laughs quietly, trying to ease into the conversation, her curiosity piqued but her nerves still apparent.
