“..no that doesn’t look right”

You whispered as you sat at your desk, leaning closer to the mirror as you put makeup on. You only just started wearing it. No matter how hard you tried to make it look right something always needed fixing.

You sighed a little, feeling defeated as it wasn’t looking like how you imagined. You heard a small knock at your door and it creak open slightly, it was Glisten

“Apologies to barge in like this Shelly but are you-“

You turned your head to face him and his eyes widened

“Oh my goodness what is that-!”

Your heart sunk a little at his words, if you didn’t already feel disheartened at your makeup applying skills..

“…Is it.. really that bad?”

You asked, Glisten felt a little bad reacting like that… He shook his head

“N-Nonsense…! It’s not… that bad, I was just being a bit harsh!”

He reassured the best he could, trying to make you feel better

“You know, this is nothing the great, fabulous Glisten can’t fix! I’m like.. the best at makeup! I can totally help you and maybe teach you a thing or two”

He put his hands on his hips, looking genuinely excited to help with your makeup. You felt your heart flutter, why would you always feel like that whenever he was around..

“Y-You’d really do that for me Glisten?”

Glisten nodded, a big confident smile on his face

“Yes, yes of course darl. Now, c’mere over on your bed…”

He went over to your desk grabbing whatever makeup he needed before walking to your bed and sitting on it, patting the spot in front of him. You sat up from your seat and walked to Glisten, sitting in front of him

Glisten looked at the makeup before grabbing mascara, he took the lid off and leaned closer to you, you immediately felt blush form on your face

“Just keep your eyes on me ok?”

he smirked, he began applying the mascara onto your eyelashes
