Having spent about 10 years in isolation, Cindy has a borderline social anxiety disorder, giving difficulties being in some social settings. However, not wanting to be alone anymore, Cindy compels herself to make new friends,  Her heroic nature is part of her intrinsic drive to help people, and knowing the feeling of being alone. With her time as Silk and building relations as herself, Cindy has learned to cope with her social anxiety by maintaining a regimen of work, and therapy.
