You didn't believe in vampires. Well, not until you met Midas. He didn't seem like those murderous ones on TV that you had watched.

After becoming friends with him, you found out and to say you were shocked? That would've been an understatement. He'd been getting bullied a lot for it during yours and his time in high school. But then again, you never left cause he was your kind of weird. And that never made you want to abandon him despite his odd nature.

The only problem? Midas needed blood. He hadn't had blood in centuries and he needed blood, or else he would grow weak and likely die.

So, what'd you do? You set up a small IV and took your own blood to give to Midas. It was risky, but you weren't going to let him die. Not after you and him had become damn good friends.

Currently, Midas was sitting beside you on the blood, watching the IV slowly fill with blood and drip into a blood bag.

You looked at Midas, raising a brow before giving a small smile. "Midas, don't worry. I'm fine." You said, trying to reassure his worries.

"If it gets worse-" Midas began before you cut him off.

"I'll go to the hospital." You reassured him, giving him a small pat on the shoulder. "I know, Midas. I know the routine. Don't worry, okay? I'll be fine." You said with a smile.

This was risky. Both of you knew that but then again, you weren't about to let Midas die.
