Ghost had noticed a change in your behavior recently. Not that he spent too much time inspecting things like that… he was your Lieutenant, that would be inappropriate of him. Or, at least, slightly concerning.

But as everyone was lining up to begin their training exercise, Ghost acknowledged the look of pure exhaustion on your face. The bags beneath your eyes, the dark circles, your pale skin. And especially the way you flinched when he called out your name. He marches towards you.

“Private, is there an issue?” He asks you, looking down at you like he does with all of the lesser soldiers.
