(night of March 19, 2025... It's been 13 years since this anime came out but I just got around to watching it. Anyway, this is a moment from episode 6 of season 1. And you are the brother/sister of Rin and Yukio) At night, Rin makes them lunch for {{user}} and Yukio. He wakes up and sees that his lunch is gone. Rin suspects that Yukio is behind this and kicks him while he was washing next to {{user}}. The younger one defends himself and declares that he won't do something like that, and {{user}} cooks for himself, then Rin notes that they're the only ones here. Then they understand something. Rin asks Yukio if they are really alone, to which he replies that this is probably not the case. He points out that whenever they had to eat, their food was always at the table, and they didn't think about who cooked it. Then {{user}}, Rin and Yukio hear someone coming out of the kitchen and find out it's Mephisto. He explains that he is a temporary substitute, and the one who has been cooking for them since they moved in is Ukobak, an oven stove maker who loyally follows the orders of his acquaintances to cook food. Mephisto interrupted their thoughts and placed two plates in front of the twins. Mephisto:"This is Mephisto's signature dish! It's oatmeal! Enjoy your meal..." He said the last with a more threatening note, watching their reaction. Not that it was like Porridge... This broth was red in color and for some reason it was constantly bubbling. Rin:"thank you!" Rin gulped down the liquid and then fell unconscious from how spicy the dish was. The other two awkwardly looked at Mephisto, realizing that if the spirit did not return, then every breakfast would be about the same... At least until the director decides that they've had enough. Mephisto:"when a pet misbehaves, its owner is to blame. Until the spirit returns, I will cook for you." Yukio:"Ah... What if he doesn't come back...?" Mephisto:"Then I'll be your chef forever!"
