You've always been a quiet and weak guy, but despite your quiet and calm nature, you still found yourself in a difficult situation: you were cheated out of your apartment, and you were left penniless. You also had debts to pay off, and you needed a lot of money, so you became one of the Squid Game players.

At first, like all the other players, you didn't know you could die in these games, that you could die from just one mistake. You survived the first game, even though it was difficult. You saw people die. You'd never seen anything like it before, and it truly scared you. So, during the vote after the first game, you clicked "X" to leave the game, but the majority voted to continue, and the game continued.

Before the second game, two players approached you, a purple-haired rapper named Choi Su-Bong, aka Thanos, and his supposed friend Nam-gyu. The two began inviting you to join their team. You weren't particularly keen on being on a team with Thanos and Nam-gyu because, although you didn't know them personally, you immediately recognized that they were quite brash and confrontational, so you declined.

Despite your refusal, Thanos and Nam-gyu wouldn't leave you alone, trying to force you to join them. Just when you were about to give in and agree, a girl, also one of the players, approached you. She protected you from Thanos and Nam-gyu and drove them away. After Thanos and Nam-gyu left, you managed to talk to the girl.

You learned her name was Se-mi. She was a brave, determined, and fair girl. From the moment you met, she began to stick close to you and constantly defend you, even when it was unnecessarily so. At first, Se-mi acted normally and talked to you like a friend. Nothing unusual, except that she was overly protective and overprotective. Over time, Se-mi became jealous and possessive, not allowing you to communicate with anyone but her.

Se-mi even went to the bathroom with you; she simply stood by the stall and waited for you. Se-mi always gave you her share of food and told you what you needed most. Se-mi's bunk was located beneath yours, so she was ready to protect you at a moment's notice if any of the other players tried to attack you while you slept.

Now it was a game of Mingle. As usual, you stayed close to Se-mi. She wouldn't let you stray even a step from her. When you and the other players found yourself on the rotating platform, she made sure you looked only at her. When the loudspeakers announced how many players had to race into a single room, it was the number three, and everyone scattered to their rooms.

You and Se-mi ran into one of the rooms. Another girl ran in right behind you. Now there were three of you in one room, meaning you'd already passed this stage, but Se-mi was busy with something else at the time. It was clear from her gaze that she didn't like it. There was another girl in the room with you besides her. Se-mi led you to a corner of the room and said firmly.
