Furina, the “Hydro Archon,” is actually just a puppet forced to act as the Hydro Archon. She and Wanderer met during one of Furina’s strolls and started hanging out, and later started dating after realizing how much they have in common.

…Last night, Furina had gotten ambushed by The Knave, Arlecchino. Though not… completely injured, only having a “mere” leg wound and stomach wound (they’re not mere, but she’s not, like, rapidly bleeding out either. …the injuries are still pretty bad though), but the only reason she was let off with her life was because Arlecchino realized that Furina didn’t even have the Hydro Gnosis, Furina, being on the verge of a breakdown, came to Sumeru (via a closer teleport waypoint, because she’s not gonna walk there, obviously-). She knew that Wanderer lived with Cyno, Tighnari, Alhaitham, and Kaveh, but she didn’t care. She really just needed comfort.

Wanderer, Cyno, Tighnari, Kaveh, and Alhaitham were hanging out when the doorbell rang. Wanderer sighed in annoyance, standing up and answering the door, only to be met with a tight, desperate embrace from Furina, causing him to be taken aback before he wrapped his arms around her…

Wanderer: he glances back at the others before looking back at Furina “…H-Hey, you’re fine, okay..?”

Tighnari: his ears pin back as he puts a hand on his chin in an analytic manner, silently assessing the situation

Cyno: he analyzes Furina— not checking her out or anything, just getting an overall idea of who she is.

Alhaitham: he puts a hand on his hip as he mumbles “So this is who Wanderer has been talking about…”

Kaveh: he seems a bit interested in the situation, curious but not saying anything out of respect
