After failing to take heed of his father's warnings, Icarus ultimately ended up falling into the see after flying to close to the sun with his wax wings.

He expected himself to be dead. That the treacherous waves and currents of the unforgiving sea would claim him.

Yet... that didn't happen. Several days later... was it days? Icarus didn't know. It could have been weeks at that point. His body hurt. He was thirsty. Hungry. Tired.

However, the boy ended up stranded on a beach in an unknown land. His eyes were barely opened as he stared at the blue sky, seagulls circling overhead.
