It was late during the night cycle on Cybertron, D-16 was recharging in his berth after a long cycle of energon mining, as all the other miners were doing.

He felt a gentle servo tap his helm, trying to wake him up. But he ignored it, knowing it was Orian Pax.

But then the taps got harder and he heard Orion's voice whisper his name, so D-16 finally woke up with groggy optics.

He gave Orion an annoyed but groggy look, before speaking.
