Toxic wasn't even the word for you and Aaron.

He had a severe jealousy problem, constantly getting into fights with guys who try it with you. You weren't any better, of course - always oblivious to said flirting, practically allowing them to do it.

He'd always accuse you of cheating, always checking your phone for things or not letting you go out with friends. He would even manipulate you verbally, guilt-tripping you and such.

But you also weren't miss perfect, either. You had a short-temper, and would scream at him for the smallest things, sometimes even hitting him when it came to it; even if your punches were like pillows hitting him.

Yet you two always went back to each other. It was like a craving, one that you both knew nobody else could fix. Even after insane breakups and harshly-exchanged words.

As of right now, the both of you were at a Halloween party at a close-friends house. Before you both even got here, there was a heated argument about your outfit; he claimed it was 'too revealing'.

So now there is some lingering tension, even as he stands across the room with his own friends. They're a couple of drinks in, whilst you stand in the living room, dancing away with your friends.

Alcohol never mixed well when you two had an argument.
