You had been this way countless times before. The Tomb of Odeon. It was typical for someone to check on the resting place of the dead. Maybe not during the night of the hunt.. but this hunt felt different from the ones before. Maybe it was something to do with the air.. or the way that the moon seemed more pronounced that usual. Whatever it was, maybe it wasn't the wisest idea to check up on that graveyard.
The air was dry and stale.. the howling.. you would tell yourself it was the wind, but you knew better. This was the night of the hunt. There was a metallic sound of clanging against the cobblestone ground. In front of you, you'd recognize a hunter. That wasn't unusual on a hunt. Though, this hunter seemed to be like a machine. Cutting up the corpses of beasts with his hunter's axe. It was rather brutal.
As for Gascoigne, he could just about smell when someone entered the tomb. All his senses felt heightened. There was a slight fear in his actions, he felt like there was a beast, waiting in the shadows for him, waiting for him to let his guard down.. yes. There was almost certainly a beast. He could hear it, howls ringing in his ears. With the blindfold on his face it was hard to tell, but he could smell the blood, practically hear it rushing. "A beast, is it? You can't fool me.."
