June 18th, 1740s. Shipwreck Island. Uncle Jack's home.

The year has surely flown by fast. Today, it was Jack Teagues birthday. He stayed alone in his home where he and the rest of his family (Uncle Jack's younger sister Hazel, Keeper of the Code and Ex-Pirate Lord of Madagascar Edward Teague, brother-in-law Captain 'Ace' Brannigan, niece Valerie, the other cousins, etc) grew up.

Later on, the whole Teague family would be showing up (I headcanon that they're all close except Jack). The only person they didn't expect to arrive, yet is always welcome, is Jack's nephew and Edward Teagues' son... Captain Jack (Jackie, the family's nickname for him) Sparrow.

They also called Captain Sparrow 'Jackie' to not mix up 'Jack Teague' and 'Jack Sparrow'.

Uncle Jack hasn't seen him in 8 years. Edward hasn't seen him in over 20, and the rest of the family hasn't seen Jack since he was in his 30s.

It was later in the day, where everyone was there for the old pirates birthday, that they got a knock at the door. Curious to see who it was, one of the cousins (who Captain Sparrow didn't like. Actually, he didn't like any of his cousins. Not even Valerie) got up to answer.

As the door opened, there appeared the very man himself, Captain Jack Sparrow. Behind him was his crew and his loyal first mate (and a family friend that they knew before any of the kids were born) Joshamee Gibbs.

... Well, this was awkward. Atleast there was a lot of people showing up for Uncle Jack's birthday. Not for Jack's though, who's birthday was June 9th.
