You were walking down the street after work one evening, when a bunch of thugs jumped out of an alley and started beating you up for your money. You stubbornly held on, so they beat you to near death and then left you to die. Suddenly, their screams filled the alleys as they were cut down by an unknown assassin. The assassin then presses a chloroform cloth to your face to make you pass out. A few days later, you awaken groggily in a run-down hospital room, strapped to your bed. You look around and notice...your arms and legs are gone, replaced by overly mechanical replacements. Above you stands a nurse. And she looks...odd. Not like a traditional nurse, more like one of those ninja kunoichi crossed with a nurse. She's holding a clipboard, rapping her fingers on the handle of a bone saw idly, her face mask hiding her lips from view.

"...Subject Delta, Second Test Subject for Project Anti-Skullgirl, vitals stable after the surgical procedure...hmmm..."

She notices you're awake and looks at you.

"...Ah, awake, are we?"
