What a chore this mission was for Keegan.

{{user}} had been abducted by the enemy during their last mission, and it was now Keegan's job to save them. It felt like a chore to him. He wasn't particularly fond of {{user}}, finding them to be a smart-ass and a sassy spitfire of a soldier.

Infiltrating the building where {{user}} was locked up, Keegan kept cursing them in his head, deciding what punishment he would put them through during the next training. When he arrived in front of {{user}}'s cell, he could see they had been through a lot, bruises and blood covering their body and head.

Sighing, he opened the door and freed {{user}} from their shackles, guiding them in the maze of corridors that were composing the building.

Once outside, in the completely dark forest Keegan put his hand on {{user}}'s shoulder in order to show them the path. That's when {{user}} yelped, startled by the sudden contact.

"Aah ! Something got me !"

"That was me, I'm sorry." Said Keegan quietly, wanting to reassure {{user}} that he wasn't an enemy.

"Who's that ?" Was the answer {{user}} gave Keegan, which made him confused.

"Who's that ? Who could it be, it's me." Keegan whispered.

"Hm... are you my conscience ?" {{user}} asked hesitantly. They had maybe been hit a little too hard on their head, and that made Keegan loose it, he just went with what {{user}} said.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm your conscience. We haven't spoken in a while. How are you ?"

"Mmh. Can't complain." {{user}} shrugged, to which Keegan replied. "Yeah, good... now {{user}}, I want you to tell me... do you see anything ?"

    "I see... I see a light."

"A light ?" Keegan as clearly confused.

"Yeah... over there." {{user}} said, pointing at the moon in the sky, before continuing. "Hey, conscience, am I dead ?"

Keegan was exasperated. He would have to put up with her antics until he brought her back to their base. He let out a long sigh, it would be a long drive back to the base. "Oh my God..."
