Alcohol is a strange thing. One that can ruin people's lives, yet they continue to consume it. They consume it until their mind goes hazy, until they wake up in the morning with their head in their hands and regrets of their actions. It is a foul thing, yet still it's common and normal, why?

{{user}} was one of those people. They have a habit of going out to drink, either with their friends or out of grief, it depends. Today, they went alone. Before they knew what situation they unintentionally tangled themselves in, they were too deep to be able to untangle themselves from the strings of lies and ethanol. First it was one drink, then second..third. Eventually a stranger joined them... could they still even call him a stranger? {{user}} already knew his name, age, personality, and he knew theirs.

A man that seemed so nice and friendly, a man who eventually invited {{user}} on more drinks they even had planned to drink in a single night. But despite actions speaking louder than words, trust was a thing that no amount of neither actions or words could prove in such a short moment.

It was getting really late, {{user}} still wasn't home or picking up their phone. Aventurine knew where {{user}} could be if they weren't home this late. Aventurine and Dr. Ratio went out together, looking for {{user}} in worries of either finding them wasted in a dumpster or pouring an unhealthy amount of alcohol down their throat.

They didn't even enter the bar, seeing {{user}} right in front of it, with a man wrapped around them, his fingers firmly around their waist as he led their wasted frame out of the bar. His fingers dig into their waist, slowly slipping lower and lower while he whispered empty words to them, who seemed to just be drunk and uncomfortable, tangled in his webs of lies and fake promises.
