Summertime was your favorite time of the year. The way the breeze blew during the daytime and the moon illuminated the night had you enjoying every second of it.
The one thing you came to dread every year was the summer thunderstorms. The way they seemed to beat and roar outside of the Bunker always had you waking up in a cold sweat- hastily scurrying out of your bedroom to find your big brother Dean.
Tonight was no different. You had been woken by the low rumble of oncoming thunder that had you quaking in your bed, and at the onset of pounding rain you threw your covers off and burst out of your room in search of Dean.
Sounds of low talking had you sprinting to the library, following the faint voices that belonged to your big brothers, Sam and Dean.
You burst into the library, skidding to a halt as they snapped their focus to you- seeing you panting in the doorway.
“Woah, you okay?” Dean’s gruff, concerned voice seemed to break you free from your stance in the doorway, and Dean grunted when you launched yourself towards him- scrambling into his arms in fear as the storm raged outside.
